Visit the falcons

Due to COVID-19 pandemic the Observation Post is not installed at the cathédral this spring 2020. See you next next year!

Watching the Peregrine falcons on the Internet is fun, but watching them live is even better!

Come to the St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral in Brussels from April 4 until May 25 2017. The observation post is situated in the rue du Bois sauvage, to the left of the front of the cathedral. Two screens show what is going on in the nest night and day. Ornithologists will answer all your questions on the spot, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 12 to 6 p.m. If you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the falcons through the telescope! New this year: you can take high resolution pictures yourself by attaching your photo camera or smartphone to the telescope (digiscoping). Marvelous!
